Let Us Now Begin

"There is no time to lick wounds, point fingers, and wallow in post-election mud.
What do we do now? We do what we’ve always done.
We stand up for our principles, as we always have — through Democrat administrations and Republican administrations,
in bear markets or bull markets, in peacetime and wartime.

We stay positive and focused.

We keep the faith.
We do not apologize for our beliefs. We do not re-brand them, re-form them, or relinquish them. We defend them.
We pay respect to the office of the presidency. We count our blessings and recommit ourselves to our constitutional republic.
We gird our loins, to borrow a phrase from our Vice President-elect.
We lock and load our ideological ammunition.
We fight!"

Stay Positive. We are Still Americans!

This has been an historic day. We as americans have elected Barack Obama as our President. I did not vote for him. I do not agree with him on very many issues. But, he is our new president. So, though I disagree. I will hope against hope that a mistake wasn't made.
Now that our election has come to an end, I will begin to look for optimism from our country. I will begin to look for optimism from those that I do agree with. And I will write about it. And I will give of my own optimism. And I will look to those who read this to offer their own optimism. Whether you agree with me or not.
I will share my opinions and I ask that you share yours. After a few posts, you will know where I stand. There will be no mistake about it. That will soon begin...
For now, stay positive. This is America. Everything will be alright...
